Dinner with friends

We had some friends over for dinner last Saturday evening. They brought their son that is Preston's age and the boys enjoyed playing together. Our kiddos were the ones that added some entertainment to the night....Preston knocked over a full glass of red wine. Luckily most of it was on the tile but the glass had us cleaning for a bit. Then Brandon decided to get some rice krispies (w/out milk) to snack on. It wasn't long before he was putting them up his nose - lovely! And the topper was when he actually got one out of his nose and ate it before Jim and I could jump across the room to grab it. Needless to say the rice krispies have been moved to a higher shelf in the pantry. We were glad the people over were friends we've known for years so they weren't scared away :) Oh, and just fyi - Brandon hasn't ever done that w/ rice krispies before....guess he was needing some attention since Jim and I were visiting with our friends - hee, hee!
