Proud Parents!

We have to brag on Preston! There was an assembly at Preston's school today and his teacher told us we would want to be there because Preston was receiving an award. He received a "Character Award" for showing gratitude. Here is what is printed on the award "Preston Clark is always grateful and polite. He never has to be reminded to say "thank you," and he is not only accepting of what he gets, but is happy with it. Preston never complains about what he gets, and he can always think of a reason for why he is happy with whatever he is given. Preston is grateful for his family, friends and for getting the chance to do things or be chosen. Preston was chosen for this award because his gratitude is not just for material things, but for personal things as well."

Jim and I are so proud of him! And, it certainly made us feel like we are doing an okay job as parents :)
