Soccer!!!

Brandon had his first soccer shots last Wednesday (the first two weeks were rained out). He was SO excited to finally get to do something (soccer, t-ball, etc.) and looked so proud as we drove there. We got to the field and met his coach, Eddie. He smiled so big and gave Eddie a high-five! Once they started Brandon he listened so intently to Eddie. When they took a break he saw that Grand-Dad was there - he smiled really big and waved! They dribbled, played a game, and then played 5 on 5. He thought it was cool to be on the red team as they "played" the yellow team. Both my dad and I were surprised that Brandon wasn't more aggressive. He didn't run to kick the ball as we expected. At the end the coach gave them each a t-shirt...he was so happy and immediately put it on over his shirt (he was the only kid to do that). He was very proud to show Grand-Dad, Preston when he got home and Jim when he arrived home. On the drive home Brandon kept saying "that was fun" and "I had a lot of fun" - it was so cute!!!
